The thing I notice about Carlos and Jojanie is the way they look at each other. I think it’s clear, who’s more in love with the other… and the answer is BOTH of them. I wish them all the happiness and love in the world! Please enjoy 10 photos from their wedding day as well as a Living Pictures Video that contains some additional moments highlighting their joyous day. Please note the “ORBS” and/or “spirits” surrounding them in the last picture. #insidejokebetweenthemandme
On June 7, 2013 I met Tyler and Chanel at the beautiful wedding of Diane and Kenny. At that time, Tyler was, and very much still remains, a young man who walks tall with true Texas Cowboy pride, while Chanel was poised right by his side as the wonderful bride-to-be, with a beaming smile that helped to brighten up that partially gloomy day; the kind of day where cats and dogs literally fell from the sky. However, thankfully the skies cleared by ceremony time.
Fast forward to November 3, 2013 at the Ranch at San Patricio in San Patricio, Texas. With no rain in site, Tyler rode a Longhorn to the ceremony, and Chanel arrived in a horse-drawn carriage. The scene was picturesque – the setting sun splashed through the grove leading up to the chapel, and fell gracefully onto Chanel’s wedding dress as she waited for those two eternal words to arrive – “I do.” After the ceremony everyone moved into the charming event center. The usual suspects were there – bride and groom first dance, cowboy boot-cake cutting, best man and maid-of-honor speeches with hard hats and princess glitter, and then a little bit of urban cowboy stomp-boot dancing before the couple’s sparkler exit. I know I’m going to butcher this, but there was even a “longest-married couple dance,” in which all married couples were invited to the dance floor and slowly year by year, all the way to decade by decades, the couples were whittled down until there was only one dancing on the floor. It was adorable to see the last couple standing strong after 50 years! My hope is that one day, 50 years or more down the long and winding road that is marriage, Tyler and Chanel will be that last couple standing. Cheers to you both!
Enjoy some of my favorite images from the day, and be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post to view some additional memories in the Special Living Pictures Video I put together as a surprise for the couple!
Arielle and Charles are phenomenal artists in their own right. Charles can “SHRED,” you know make the good ol’ wood and metal strings SING! I won’t post any particular video here… except maybe suggest you check out this ONE – (Guitar Center’s King of Blues Finalist 2011, Los Angeles, CA). Whereas Arielle can “CUT – A – RUG” (or two). Again, I’m only posting pics here, with one exception, so maybe you can see her try out for SYTYCD.
The two celebrated their marriage at the Red Corral Ranch outside Wimberley, Texas. It’s a quaint and beautiful area where peacocks roam freely, and CRY even more freely. It’s grounds include an open field for a bonfire and a pool and hot tub, which some of us enjoyed the night before the wedding. The ceremony took place under a picturesque group of large oak trees…. I’m just going to show you the pictures instead… Last bit of info though the reception was held at the BIG RED BARN… which is just as the words describe… a BIG RED BARN (minus the hay).
Oh and at the rehearsal Arielle had intended to have this song play after their first kiss… if I remember correctly it didn’t. So click play and scroll down and enjoy the moments!
Ambrose and Mary Beth celebrated their marriage on July 30, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. I was blessed to be able to capture that wonderful day with photography. This video is a brief window into that wonderful day’s happenings. Unequivocally, this is the proudest moment of my wedding photography career.
