Vanessa and Demetrio Engagement Enlargements using Adobe Photoshop CS6 – June 1, 2012 – Corpus Christi, Texas

On June 9, 2012 these two will tie the proverbial knot! In addition to a bridal enlargement we’ll shoot this upcoming weekend, I’m thankful to provide two engagement enlargements for them to share at the reception and then for the rest of their lives.

I’m sharing these with you because I’m excited about the wonders of photoshop. In case you’re wondering, I’m currently trying out the new CS6 and I’m LOVING it. Not that these two needed much “retouching,” besides I prefer to stay as close to the natural look as much as possible. But one of the enlargements needed an object removed from foreground and a statue in the background. The picture on the left is the before and the one on the right represents the final crop.

Note the statue next to the windmill structure, although you can’t discern what it is in this picture.  I actually left the hat but it was lost in the crop.  The second is in the foreground on the couple’s right, the little identifying plaque for those particular roses. Beyond that just a little burn and dodging, smoothing, et voila!

Now stay tuned for those bridal shots!

    • Well again I just try to keep a natural look. And I’m beginning to discover some little tricks (self taught) with burning, dodging and spot removal for the most part. As for love finding them – I couldn’t agree more. Thanks!
