First Dance Video(s) and First Pasties Show!

Two big firsts came along this weekend: pasties and professional dancing.

After Dark Revue held their five year anniversary this past Saturday, July 16th,  at House of Rock. It was a hot show filled with everything from groovy-booty shaking, high heels, colored feathers, and firey corsets.

Thank you to After Dark Revue and The House of Rock.

I can only give a slight preview:

Then on Sunday July 17, 2011, we began filming with a really small crew (which has become the norm for me). But we produced two separate dance videos. Both with The Crush Girls Dance Crew lead by the amazing choreography of Lance Valdez. Oh and did I mention the four beautiful girls: Misty,  Kelli, Sarah, and Jay.

We filmed on location at sunset, both at the ground level of Nueces Lofts off People Street as well as on the rooftop of the same building.

Here’s another view:

ASIDE: I think I might finally get the chance to do some interesting color correction. I might need to a warmer daytime since we filmed the opening sequence last, by which time the sun was pretty much set. Afterwards we moved back down to the ground floor and finished off a sultry dance video starring Misty as she’s checking out Lance as he’s practicing cutting the rug.

Thank you to Tony Martinez of The Crush Girls, Lance Valdez, The Crush Girls Dance Squad – Kelli, Jay, Sarah, and Misty, and my sister Gina DeBenedetto and James Magel for stepping in to help me out.

Here’s our crew and dance star minus Misty.

ps

in a private screening we screened “Kill Shot” a 48cc entry and “Ay Chihuahua! – A love Story” on Friday night to a warm reception. “Ay Chihuahua! – A love Story” will be online after August 21, 2011.  Their facebook fan pages can be found here and here respectively. I can’t wait until it’s seen on a big screen.
