Comments from Coastal Bend Day of Giving : CASA’s mission is to speak up for and find permanent homes for foster children in crisis throughout Nueces, San Patricio and Aransas Counties. Our trained community volunteers gather information and evaluate the needs of the child. These volunteers speak out in court representing the sole interest of the child. CASA of the Coastal Bend’s goal is to help place these children in safe, nurturing environments as quickly as possible.

CASA John and Jerry’s Story – CASA of the Coastal Bend – September 11, 2012 – Corpus Christi, Texas

I am blessed to serve on the Board of Director’s for CASA of the Coastal Bend.  The organization is filled with amazing people with LARGE hearts.  The opportunity came up for us to record some local children’s stories about the SPECIAL time they spent with their CASA’s during the not-so-special time spent in protective custody. They gave me free reign, without knowing I’ve never produced anything like this… needless to say I’m thankful for the opportunity, and I’m also glad that I was able to complete the project – officialy about one hour before the 20th Birthday Party Celebration. Here is the story of two young, brave men!

CASA Night at the Hooks – July 31, 2012

HOWDY everyone!  It’s that time of year again! This is a wonderful opportunity to get together, have some fun, and represent and support CASA.  This is also a great fundraiser for CASA as proceeds from ticket sales come directly to CASA.  PLUS the organization that sells the most tickets will also be able to participate in the “Shirt Off the Back” event with the Hooks, which raises additional funds.

We are proud to say that CASA of the Coastal Bend has won Shirt Off the Back two years in a row (last year raising over $2500 for CASA).  Let’s make it THREE years in a row!  We would love for you to join us, enjoy the game, and help us raise awareness and money for CASA so we can continue fighting for abused and neglected children in our community.

To purchase tickets, please fill out form below or contact Diana Booth- office: 361-884-2272, cell: 361-779-3664, or email:Diana@interconnect.net.  PLEASE NOTE: Clicking the picture below will take you to a link to purchase tickets, don’t forget to enter special code: CASA.
