Yesterday, October 18, 2011, Bella Bella Exclusive Hair Salon “Got PINK!” They invited clients to “Get Pink!” too. I headed over to only collect pictures and ended up receiving $105! 100% of funds received go directly to American Cancer Society. Thank you Bella Bella and those that support the fight against Breast Cancer.

In honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MD Photography will raise funds through a unique picture based promotion involving local vendors (see list below). The importance of early breast cancer detection is vital, read this article concerning benefits of early detection from http://www.cancer.org. Through the sale of pink items/products to increase awareness, MD Photography will donate $1.00 for every picture that is uploaded to social media networks (see details below), up to $100.00. Also, 100% of proceeds will go directly to American Cancer Society. Donate directly here.
How can I become involved?
- Purchase a pink product or item from the business locations listed below.
- Take a photograph of yourself while in the business location and make sure it highlights or showcases your new pink product/item.
- Upload the photo to either www.facebook.com/mdfotography or use Twitter to upload the picture and tag @mdfotography. If possible, “tag” yourself and business in Facebook. OR email to micahd@alumni.utexas.net and I’ll upload it for you!
- MD Photography will donate up to $1 for every “tweet” or picture that is uploaded up to $100 between October 1-31, 2011.
